Elevator Pitch No. 3
What did you change, based on the feedback? When I recorded the first and second ones I was reading from a rough script so I could easily remember what I wanted to say. I also had to stop and rerecord a few times because I messed up. But this time, I had it mostly memorized and I didn't need a script at all. I also only needed to record it once, unlike the other times. Also, I added an opening hook which neither of my previous ones had and I, again, tried to show some more emotion to keep the audience interested and sell them on my idea. Overall, I was definitely more comfortable doing this one than I was doing the first two.
Hey Emily!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your post! I can see the progress you've made in the three elevator pitches, and I can tell that you are much ore confident in your speaking, as well as your idea. You showed more emotion and grabbed interest from the start of your pitch. If I were to hear this pitch at a forum or something similar, I would be intrigued to buy your product, which ultimately is your goal when speaking to a potential customer base. Keep up the good work!
Hey Emily, great job with your pitch. I think you did a good job using more emotion in this post, so that is a great job listening to feedback Your script was also very good, and you did a great job presenting it. I think that you have a great idea for a product, and that your passion will make it happen.
ReplyDeleteHi Emily! I think you did an amazing job on your elevator pitch! I liked how you added a background on yourself so that I could get to know you better! It makes your pitch more personable and more memorable. I also think you did a really good job describing what your actual product is. Overall, you had good enthusiasm and a great pace of speech.
ReplyDeleteHi Emily!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with your pitch! I like that you were able to make the elevator pitch this time without having to read from a script. You seem a lot more comfortable because of it. I'm glad you were able to do this pitch once without messing up. I messed up at the end of my pitch when I did it, and I had to start from the beginning. I'm going to check out your food blog. It d=sounds awesome!!!
U bet it's awesome! Follow @the_foodmood
DeleteHi, Emily! Great job on this third elevator pitch! Brownie points (ha ha!) to you for keeping up with these! I'm really impressed that you were able to film this just once for this assignment! I usually try at least 10 times before filming an elevator pitch I'm satisfied with. I definitely see a lot of improvement since the first elevator pitch. My feedback for this one is to perhaps stand still a bit more; I noticed some swaying back and forth which was a little distracting. Also, while I could tell you are excited about this idea, still more vocal inflections and facial expressions would help to make this even better. But you're really improving a lot and I wish you all the best!
ReplyDeleteHey Emily, great job on the elevator pitch. You seemed more confident and clear in this third video. It has seemed that you got better at delivering your pitch over these iterations of posts. I like how you told a little about yourself in the elevator pitch, so we know how close this opportunity is to you and your social media life.
